Utica,NY : Police chase in Utica leads to crash on December, Monday 4th 2017

A Utica police chase ended with a crash at the intersection of Third and Blandina streets Monday night.

The suspect’s car ended up on the sidewalk where it struck the passenger side, near the rear wheel, of a van parked on Third Street. At least one suspect fled, but was later apprehended, according to police reports.

An initial report over the scanner said that the car had hit a house, but that report was apparently inaccurate.

The driver of the damaged van was across the street in Mugalli’s Market at the time of the accident, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m.
