Johnstown, PA : Woman injured after a one-vehicle crash on Airport Road in Richland Township on Monday, July 11, 2016

A woman was taken to the hospital Monday after a one-vehicle crash on Airport Road in Richland Township, authorities said.

Richland police officer Jarod Quist said the driver may have suffered a medical problem when she lost control of the Mitsubishi Mirage around 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Airport Road.

The vehicle left the road way, struck two trees and a fence, Quist said.

The vehicle rolled down the embankment before stopping at the fence at the Pennsylvania Air National Guard facility.

The driver was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown with non-life threatening injuries, he said.

The driver's name was not available.
