HOLYOKE, MA : Driver injured in rollover crash on Route 141 in Holyoke on Friday, 29th November, 2019

A driver was injured Friday morning in a one-car rollover crash on Route 141 that closed the roadway in both directions.

According to Holyoke police, the crash was reported at around 7:30 p.m. in the area where Route 141 meets Southampton Road. The crash involved a single car with a single occupant.

Capt. Kevin Cagagnac of the Holyoke Fire Department told Western Mass News that the car went off the road and rolled over onto its side. Firefighters had to cut the roof off with Jaws of Life hydraulic equipment to reach the driver. He was taken by ambulance to Holyoke Hospital with very serious injuries.
