Andrews County, TX : Three people dead after a fiery four-vehicle accident on Highway 385 in Andrews County on Tuesday night, April 21, 2015
Three men are dead following an evening accident in Andrews County.
The accident happened on U.S. Highway 385, approximately 12 miles south of Andrews just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a 2013 Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on Highway 385 with a 2014 Toyota Tundra following behind.
We're told a 2014 Ford was traveling northbound in the wrong lane and hit the Ford F-250 head on.
That's when the Toyota Tundra hit the 2014 Ford and caused the 2014 Ford to separate into two pieces.
Two people in the 2013 Ford F-250, 24-year-old Nicholas Long of Odessa, Texas, and 26-year-old Nick Reynolds of Springfield, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 2014 Ford, 42-year-old Christopher Johnson, of Magnolia, Texas, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Tundra, 29-year-old Joshua Trevino of Andrews, Texas, was taken to Permian Regional in Andrews.
