Two of four drivers were injured and taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after being in a crash at 5 p.m. Saturday on Highway 64 in Poplar Township in Cass County, north of Leader.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Hyundai Santa Fe and Ford Edge were northbound on Highway 64, while a Ford Fusion was driving south. The Fusion veered into the northbound lane, striking the jeep slightly offset of head-on, the state patrol stated. The Fusion continued south in the northbound lane, forcing the Edge to the ditch and striking the Santa Fe head-on.
The driver of the Santa Fe, Adrian W. Pollock, 37, Burnsville, and the driver of the Fusion, Daniel T. Haugen, 39, Richfield, were transported to North Memorial Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
