Fargo, N.D : Harwood man injured in crash near Reile's Acres Friday morning, March 10, 2017

A 49-year-old Harwood man was injured Friday morning, March 10, when the SUV he was driving crashed just west of Reile's Acres.

According to a report released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol:

The crash happened about 6:22 a.m. in the 3800 block of 57th Avenue North about a half-mile west of Reile's Acres, which is a short distance northwest of Fargo.

The vehicle was northbound on 57th Avenue when it entered the ditch and overturned.

The driver, who was found outside of the vehicle, was transported to Essentia Health in Fargo for life-threatening injuries and exposure to the elements.

The crash remains under investigation.
