Gibbon, NE : Gibbon man OK after a rollover crash on Friday, March 3, 2017
A Gibbon man was listed in fair condition today at CHI Health Good Samaritan following a one-vehicle rollover crash south of Gibbon Friday.
A 2015 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by Charles McDill, 54, was traveling east on Elm Island Road at 6:53 p.m. Friday when it came to a curve in the road. The pickup left the road, a Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office accident report said, entered the east ditch, rolled, and came to rest in a field.
McDill, along with two of his passengers, Brendon Parks, 29, and Susan Berry, 32, both of Gibbon were all transported to the hospital. Parks and Berry were treated for their injuries and released.
McDill was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a preliminary breath test. Law enforcement reports from the crash will be sent to the Buffalo County Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution.
