Waterville, ME : 76-year-old man from Richmond died on Interstate 295 on Monday, 14th May 2018

A 76-year-old man from Richmond died night on Interstate 295 when his pickup truck crashed into a stand of trees in the highway median, Maine State Police said Monday.

Gary Hastings was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash after his 2008 Ford pickup left the roadway as he traveled northbound. Police were called to the scene about 9:30 p.m.
