TUCSON, AZ : Police search for one of two cars in deadly pedestrian crash on April, Saturday 8th 2017
A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after being hit by two cars, according to Tucson Police Department.
A release from the department said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision.
The driver of one car stayed on scene and rendered aid but before he was able to help, police said the pedestrian was hit by another car.
The second car fled the scene, according to TPD. It is described as a white sedan.
Speed and impairment don’t appear to be factors in the crash, according to police. No citations have been issued and no arrests have been made.
The deadly crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening, and shut down traffic on 6th Avenue, north of Ohio Street on the south side of Tucson.
