Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning crash that left one unnamed pedestrian dead.
According to the media release from FHP, 52-year-old Theodore Glover of Crestview, was traveling east on Lewis Turner Boulevard around 12:52 a.m. Sunday when he struck a man who was walking in the eastbound lane of the road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. Glover has no injuries.
Charges are pending a traffic homicide investigation. The crash was not alcohol related according to the report.
All attempts to identify the pedestrian were unsuccessful. The man is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’8 tall.
