Concord, N.H : Jeep driver died in head-on collision on Interstate 89 on Wednesday, Sep 30, 2015
New Hampshire State Police said a Jeep crossed over the center median on Interstate 89 in Concord and collided head-on with another car, killing the Jeep's driver.
The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Wednesday when the northbound Jeep lost control near exit 2 and collided with a southbound car driven by 51-year-old Lynda Rawnsley, of Hillsborough.
When police arrived, one vehicle had rolled over and the other was on fire.
The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene; she was not immediately identified. Rawnsley was taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries. Her condition could not immediately be learned.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
