BLOOMINGTON, IL : Bloomington man among 3 injured in fatal crash on I-74 near Morton during snow on Wednesday, 26th February, 2020

One person was killed and three people, including a Bloomington man, were injured in a head-on collision on Interstate 74 on Wednesday as snow created icy and slippery road conditions throughout Central Illinois.

The snow, totaling 2 to 3 inches in most places, led to numerous accidents and school closings, including the McLean County Unit 5 school district.

The identity of the driver killed in the crash was being withheld pending notification of next of kin. He died at the scene.
