Victim from Boaz crash dies near Alabama

One of two women involved in a head-on collision has died.A representative of Charleston Area Medical Center said Carrie Reed has died.Reed, who was taken by helicopter Tuesday morning from the collision to CAMC with serious injuries, died Wednesday morning.Reed is the wife of Wood County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Reed.Reed, 51, was driving a Toyota Camry northbound on West Virginia 14 when it crossed the center line, striking a southbound Toyota Sienna driven by Terri Page of Marietta. The two vehicles crashed head on and clipped a Ford Focus driven by Ann Anderson.

Traffic on the road was closed for about 90 minutes as crews worked the scene. Page and Reed were both trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated. Page was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center, also with serious injuries. She is listed in good condition.Anderson, driver of the van, was uninjured.
