Burke, VA : Two men died in a single-vehicle crash in Fairfax County early Monday, March 14, 2016

Speed and alcohol likely caused a fatal crash in Fairfax County overnight, Fairfax County police said.

Around 12:23 a.m., police rushed to the scene of the crash near Burke Commons Road and Robert Commons Lane in the town of Burk.

Investigators said the driver, Cristian G Dominguez, and the front-seat passenger, Cristian A Merino, were killed when their car swerved off the road and smashed into a tree.

Another passenger in the car survived the crash, but he refused treatment.

Police said they are all in their mid to late twenties.
