PERRIS, CA : 1 person dies in two-vehicle crash in Perris near the intersection of Cajalco Road and Archer Road on Tuesday, 25th February, 2020

A person was killed in a traffic collision in Perris on Tuesday night.

The two-vehicle crash was reported about 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Cajalco Road and Archer Road, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to April Newman of Cal Fire Riverside.

Additionally, one patient was sent to a hospital with moderate injuries, the Fire Department said.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating.
