Buffalo, MN : 1 man killed in Buffalo crash on Friday night, March 31, 2017
An 81-year-old Buffalo man was killed Friday night after his vehicle was struck by another in Buffalo, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. His identity is expected to be released Sunday.
The collision occurred at about 8 p.m., as both vehicles were driving west on Minnesota Highway 55, just south of the Buffalo Civic Center, municipal airport and Menards on Calder Avenue Northeast.
The man's vehicle was struck by one driven by 15-year-old Lily Teig, of Delano. Other passengers included Beth Mattson-Teig, 46, Dylan Teig, 13, and Alexander Weed, 16, all of Independence. No one in the second vehicle was injured.
Teig changed lanes and struck the man's vehicle. It went off the road to the right and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
