A Homosassa man was killed Monday morning in a motorcycle crash on East Stage Coach Trail.

Carles Ray Noe, 65, was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle eastbound on East Stage Coach Trail at approximately 9:05 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the area of South Zanmar Drive, according to a Florida Highway Patrol accident

report. Noe’s motorcycle left the road and traveled onto the south shoulder of East Stage Coach Trail, where it overturned, ejecting Noe.

Noe was transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson for treatment, but later expired there from injuries sustained in the accident.
