CEDAR HILLS, OR : Man dies after car crashes into Commonwealth Lake north of Beaverton on Monday, 24th July 2023

A Beaverton man is dead after a car drove into Commonwealth Lake on Monday morning, the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) reported. Commonwealth Lake is located in Cedar Hills, about two miles north of Beaverton.

WCSO deputies responded to a report that a car had gone into the lake at 5:15 a.m. Monday. They found the vehicle partially submerged. Once the car was removed from the lake, deputies found a man inside. He was dead.
