Stockton, MD : Woman struck, killed in crash near Wesley Road on Sunday, 12th January, 2020

Maryland State Police say a Worcester County woman was killed in a Sunday night crash while riding a bicycle with her child.

The crash occurred before 5:15 p.m. on Stockton Road near Wesley Road, in Stockton, according to a news release from the MSP Berlin barrack.

Responders learned a Stockton woman and her 9-year-old child were riding bicycles when the woman was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, the release states.

The woman, 43-year-old Erica Lynn Wolff, was killed in the crash. Neither the child nor the pickup truck driver, 20-year-old Charlie Marie Shaw of Greenbackville, was injured. Police said the child was riding a separate bicycle when the crash occurred.
