Fremont, OH : Bradner man killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 6 in Jackson Township on Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016

A two-vehicle crash killed a motorist early todayin Sandusky County.

Kenneth Saam, 49, of Bradner Ohio, was pronounced dead on the scene at U.S. 6 in Jackson Township, according to the Fremont post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Mr. Saam was westbound about 6:25 a.m. when he drove left of center. He collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle driven by Alexander Winkler Jr., 58, of Milan, Ohio, troopers said.

Mr. Saam did not wear a seat belt during the crash. Mr. Winkler wore a seat belt and was taken to ProMedica Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
