Vermilion County, IL: Accident victim identified as Amy Pipes, 60, of Ridge Farm on Thursday, July 23rd 2015

Amy Pipes, a 60-year-old Ridge Farm woman, was killed this morning when the Volkswagen Beetle she was driving collided with a Toyota Camry about one mile west of Westville.The driver of the Camry, Shelby Smith, 20, of Catlin, was taken to the hospital but escaped serious injury, authorities said.The accident happened about 7:15 a.m. on County Road 1200 N, just west of 1500 E.Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson said the victim was ejected from her car.
