Seagrove, NC : One dead in crash near Seagrove on Friday evening, October 21, 2016

One person has died following a crash on Old U.S. 220 between Asheboro and Seagrove Friday evening.

The wreck happened at approximately 8:29 p.m., between and Oak View Lane and Old State Highway 13, according to Randolph County 911.

The victim has been identified as Wilma Chriscoe Dunlap, 57, of Asheboro.

Circumstances involving the incident have not been released. The highway patrol is currently investigating.
