Moscow,ID : Motorists injured in Highway 8 crash on April, Tuesday 17th 2018
Emergency medical technicians and firefighters aid motorists after their 2002 Toyota Celica skidded off Highway 8 and landed in a sewage pond at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday between Moscow and Troy. Nineteen-year-old Christian Aguirre-Dowell, of Bonners Ferry, was reportedly traveling eastbound when he overcorrected, crossed both east and westbound lanes, left the north edge of the roadway and struck an embankment, according to the Idaho State Police. Aguirre-Dowell and his passenger, Yarina Madrigal, 19, of Caldwell, were helped out of the vehicle by bystanders on scene; both were transported to Gritman Medical Center for minor injuries. Aguirre-Dowell was cited for inattentive driving and the vehicle was eventually towed from the scene.
