Hayti, MO : Two persons seriously injuries when a car struck the utility vehicle at at the intersection of County Road 266 Thursday, April 14th, 2016
A Region 8 man suffered serious injuries when a car struck the utility vehicle he was riding on.
The crash happened at 3:11 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of County Road 266 and North Oak Street in Hayti, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report.
John A. Thomas, 28, was riding on a 2015 Yamaha Polaris driven by 15-year-old David E. Ronhilt when a 1997 Toyota Camry driven by Shekelin A. Taylor, 27, of Caruthersville pulled into the path of their UTV.
The Hayti men’s utility vehicle struck the Camry and overturned.
Thomas was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Ronhilt suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Taylor was not hurt.
