GREENWICH, CT : Driver extricated after crash down embankment in Greenwich on Friday, 24th April, 2020

Firefighters quickly freed a driver trapped in a vehicle after it crashed down an embankment and into the water, officials said.
About 6:10 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Glenville Road for a report of a car down an embankment with an occupant trapped inside.
Units on scene quickly stabilized the vehicle, which was in the water off the side of the road, so it wouldn’t roll on its roof. Extrication was underway by 6:15 p.m.Firefighters used the Jaws and Life to remove the roof of the car and free the driver, officials said. By 6:20 p.m., the driver was out of the vehicle.
