MILWAUKEE, WI : Milwaukee man, 74, killed on way home from bible study on Tuesday, 4th October 2016

A Milwaukee man was stabbed to death Tuesday night as he returned home from a bible study.

Herman Davis, 74, was attacked in the alley behind his home near North 24th Street and West Capitol Drive at about 7:30 p.mFamily members said a car was blocking his garage, and when Davis asked the man to move it, the other driver became irate and stabbed Davis.

Davis' wife was with him at the time and called for help, but Davis died at a hospital.

Milwaukee police said they're searching for his attacker, the identity of whom remains unknown.

"I ask whoever did this to come forward. If anybody knows anything, come forth. He's a 74-year-old man. He should not have had to die that way," Davis' daughter, Felicia Givens, said. "All he ever did was try to help people. That's just who my daddy was. You needed help, he was going to be there for you, and for him to die like that, it was just senseless. Absolutely senseless."
