A Thunder Bay woman is in serious condition in a Minnesota hospital after a fiery car crash on the I-35.

According to the Duluth News Tribune, College students travelling from Duluth are credited with saving the woman’s life after they pulled her from her burning car Sunday.

The crash took place near Sandstone.

Officials with the Minnesota State Patrol say the Thunder Bay driver was heading south on the interstate when her Dodge Nitro veered off the roadway, struck some trees and caught fire.
