LOS ANGELES, CA : 5-year-old boy, woman killed in Lake Balboa head-on crash on Thursday, 29th June 2023

A five-year-old boy and a woman were killed, while four others were injured in a head-on collision in Lake Balboa Thursday night, officials said.

The crash occurred at 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Woodley Avenue and Victory Boulevard.

Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department said a white Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Woodley Ave. when the male driver crossed over into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on with a gray Honda Civil carrying a family of four.
