COLCHESTER, CT : 39-year-old woman dies in Colchester crash on Monday, 11th March 2024

A woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Colchester on Monday night.

State police identified the victim as 39-year-old Alycia Ziegler of Andover.

Troopers said she drove north on Route 85 when for an unknown reason she crossed over the southbound lane and struck a large tree.

Her vehicle then caught on fire.
