Hazleton,IA : Hazleton woman dies in crash on September, Monday 11th 2017

A Hazleton woman has died in a crash in Buchanan County Monday.

Tamara Jane Miller-Fuller, 47, died at Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, following the crash, reported about 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of Mason Avenue and 140th Street, south of Hazleton, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

Troopers said Miller-Fuller was driving an SUV east on 140th Street while a semi being driven by Perry D. Klosterman, 52, of Strawberry Point, was northbound on Mason Avenue. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Miller-Fuller was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the Buchanan County Sheriff's Office.


Klosterman sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.

The report did not state whether either driver was at fault or whether any citations were issued, but deputies stated it was still under investigation.
