Lebanon, MO : Strafford man injured in Mo. 5 wreck on Saturday, January 21, 2017

A Strafford man received serious injuries when he wrecked his motorcycle into two trucks and was thrown from the vehicle.
Just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday 59-year-old Charles Mingus of Strafford allegedly failed to negotiate a curve on South Missouri 5 about 10 miles south of Lebanon in his northbound 2010 Harley Davidson.
The motorcycle crossed the centerline and struck the towed unit of a southbound 2016 Dodge Ram driven by Joseph Waters, 39, of Mulberry, Fla. The motorcycle then struck a southbound 1996 GMC Sierra driven by David Gass, 49, of Lebanon, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The Harley Davidson overturned and ejected Mingus. The motorcycle finally came to a stop on the right side of the roadway, the report says.
Mingus, who was wearing a helmet, received what is described as “serious” injuries in the wreck. He was flown by helicopter to Mercy Hospital Springfield for treatment. Gass received “minor” injuries in the wreck and sought treatment on his own, according to the highway patrol.
