Dallas, TX : 14-year-old without license dies in motorcycle crash in Richardson early Sunday, October 23, 2016

A 14-year-old boy died in a motorcycle crash early Sunday in Richardson.

Police said Dung Dang lost control of the motorcycle he was driving around midnight at the intersection of Buckingham Road and Centennial Boulevard.

Richardson police spokesman Kevin Perlich said Dang was speeding west when he crashed and was thrown from the motorcycle.

Dang was pronounced dead at the scene.

Perlich said the boy did not have a license to operate the motorcycle. A crash investigation team is working to determine who owns the motorcycle.
