Nashville, TN : Three people injured after wrong-way crash on I-24 in Antioch early Sunday, April 24, 2016
Three people were transported to Vanderbilt Hospital after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 24 in Antioch early Sunday.
The collision happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Bell Road.
According to Metro police Capt. Christopher Gilder, emergency crews had to help both drivers get out of the wreckage.
A passenger was also injured.
All of those involved were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes of I-24 were closed for more than three hours as crews removed the wreckage.
