CHICAGO, IL : 3 seriously hurt in Calumet Heights crash on Friday, 9th April 2021

Three people were critically hurt in a traffic crash Friday morning in the Calumet Heights neighborhood are now expected to be okay, according to police.

The mangled car wrecks were visible well down the block, giving passersby an idea of the magnitude of the impact.

Northbound Stony Island between 86th and 87th streets remained blocked off by Chicago police later Friday. Both cars appeared totaled.
