Boston, MA : woman died and another seriously injured after struck by SUV at Tremont and West Brookline streets on wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

Police say a woman died and another was seriously injured after they were struck by a sport utility vehicle in Boston.

It happened at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the city's South End neighborhood. Police say the two were in a crosswalk at Tremont and West Brookline streets when they were hit.

Both were taken to Boston Medical Center. The injured woman is expected to survive. The victims' identities haven't been released.

Police are investigating whether a sun glare played a role in the crash.
