Lohrville,IA : Fort Dodge tattoo artist dies in Calhoun County crash on December, Wednesday 6th 2017
A Fort Dodge tattoo artist was killed in a rollover accident Wednesday night in Calhoun County.
Jeremy Caldeira, 36, of Fort Dodge, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The accident report said Caldeira was eastbound on 330th Street, south of Lohrville, when he tried to turn north on Sigourney Avenue.
Lt. Mark Miller, of the Iowa State Patrol, said Caldeira is believed to have run the stop sign at the intersection.
He lost control of the 2009 Hummer H3 he was driving, which went into the east ditch and rolled.
The accident happened around 8:18 p.m.
Caldeira was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Miller.
A passenger that was in the vehicle was not injured.
