Pocatello,ID : Three injured in wreck near Bannock County Courthouse in Pocatello on October, Tuesday 24th 2017

Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle wreck near the Bannock County Courthouse.

Police said two women and a man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when their car collided with an SUV at East Center Street and Fourth Avenue at about 10 a.m.

The impact caused the car to overturn.


All three victims were transported by Pocatello Fire Department ambulances to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello for treatment, police said.

The woman who was driving the SUV was not injured.

Police said the crash occurred when one of the vehicles involved failed to stop at a red light at the intersection. Police said they plan to cite the driver responsible for the crash after they are done with their investigation.

The names of those involved in the wreck have not yet been released.

The intersection of East Center Street and Fourth Avenue was temporarily blocked because of the crash.
