One person is dead after colliding with a semi-truck in north Charlotte Wednesday morning.
Medic initially said a pedestrian was struck and then pinned under the wheel near the intersection of Alexanderana and Statesville roads.
Medic later corrected the information, saying the crash did not involve a pedestrian, but was actually a head-on collision.
It happened just before 11 a.m.
