Townsend, TN : Man in serious condition after motorcycle crash on Wears Valley Road on May 18th 2014

Dispatch received a call early Sunday morning about a motorcycle wreck with injuries, on Wears Valley Road and Rocky Top Way in Blount County.

Tennessee Highway Patrol was called out to the scene, as were ambulance and Townsend Fire.

Officials say a man crashed his motorcycle and was airlifted by LifeStar and is in serious condition at UT Medical Center.

The name of the victim has yet to be released.
