Meridian , ID: Driver minorly injured and charged with DUI in crashing SUV into Home after losing control of his SUV and causing serious property damage on Saturday, February 21st 2015

A Meridian man is facing multiple charges after losing control of his SUV and causing serious property damage, according to police.

Meridian Police tell KBOI 2News that John Hernandez hit two cars and then plowed into a garage in a Meridian subdivision just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators aren't sure about the extent of damage to the house. Police, however, say Hernandez was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and then arrested.
He's currently being held at the Ada County Jail, and is charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
