Newark Valley Double-Fatal Car Crash

Two people are dead in a one-car accident in Newark Valley. It happened on State Route 38, on Wednesday, just after midnight. State Police say 54 year old Lucinda Klees of Endicott was driving her 2002 Cheverolet-- northbound-- when she struck the guardrail end of a bridge --head on. Klees was declared dead at the scene, as was her front seat passanger, 34 yer old Patrick Ackley of Berkshire, NY.
