Franklin Township, PA : Towanda Woman Killed in Two Vehicle Crash on Thursday June 26th 2014

A Towanda woman died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 414 in Franklin Township, Bradford County, police said.

State police in Towanda said Hila L. Strope, 46, was driving a car east on the road around 12:25 p.m. Thursday when she lost control at a left turn and went off the road. As her car came back onto the road, it was hit by a truck driven west by William G. Schaen of Grantsville, Maryland.

Strope was pronounced dead at the scene by the Assistant Bradford County Coroner. No charges were filed in the crash, police said.
