Teen hospitalized in critical condition in Collins Missouri

A Springfield teen injured Friday while riding on the trunk of another teen's car is hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said.

Tanner Decker, 16, was taken to Cox South after the accident at 9:45 p.m. on Farm Road 143 1/2 mile north of Springfield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Decker was riding on the trunk of a car driven by Daniel Sirkel, 18, also of Springfield when he fell off, according to the highway patrol.
