JERSEYVILLE, IL : Jerseyville teen dies in crash on Tuesday, 4th February, 2020

A Jerseyville teen died Tuesday after a head-on collision near Jerseyville.
According to Illinois State Police, Christian M. Cazier, 19, of Jerseyville was going north on U.S. 67 at Kristie Lane about 3:25 p.m. Tuesday when Cazier’s car crossed into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a semi-trailer truck being driven by Robert L. Gilbert Sr., 60, of Greenfield.
Cazier died about a half hour later, according to the Jersey County coroner.
