Beckley, W.V : One injured in car accident in Beckley Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2016

One person was injured in a single-car accident in Beckley Tuesday afternoon.

The vehicle flipped over before landing on its side on Dry Hill Road around 5:15 p.m.

The road was closed for nearly an hour while emergency crews worked to extract the motorist, a Raleigh County dispatcher said.

Crews from Beaver and Masbcott volunteer fire department responded.
