Milwaukee ,WI : Waukesha man killed in single-car crash in South Milwaukee Saturday December 19 2015

A Waukesha man died Saturday morning after a single-car crash in South Milwaukee in which he drove through an intersection at high speed and struck the a fire hydrant and utility pole.
Officials responded to the incident at 6:38 a.m. at the intersection of 10th Ave. and Marquette Ave., according to a South Milwaukee Police Department news release. The vehicle went through the intersection heading east in a westbound lane and struck a hydrant, traffic light standard and a utility pole at a high rate of speed.
The driver, who police identified as David K. Kelly, 35, was breathing when officials arrived, and Flight for Life was requested. However, Kelly died in an ambulance at the scene, according to the release.
The incident remains under investigation.
