Volusia County, FL : Two people dead after box truck and a pickup truck crash on Interstate 95 in Volusia County on Tuesday May 31,2016.

Two drivers are dead after a box truck and a pickup truck were involved in a crash Tuesday evening on Interstate 95 in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at mile marker 261 at 6:30 p.m. A pickup truck containing workers assigned to interstate construction was stopped facing eastbound, on the right paved shoulder, of southbound I-95, troopers said.
Even though it was marked as a construction area, the other vehicle traveling southbound on I-95 drove onto the paved shoulder. The front of that vehicle hit the left side of the pickup truck, FHP stated.
The drivers of both vehicles died. Both were wearing seat belts, according to FHP.
This crash remains under investigation.
