AIKEN, SC: Accident in Aiken leaves one victim dead on Saturday, 5th August 2023

The Aiken County Coroner's Office is investigating a accident that left one victim dead.

Officials say it was a single vehicle accident that occurred in the 3000 block of Chalk Bed Road near Olive Heights Road.

The victim was identified as Stephen A. Hicks, 36. He was travelling east on Chalk bed Rd when his truck ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
