HOLYOKE, MA : Rollover crash in Holyoke leaves driver in critical condition at the intersection of Easthampton (Route 141) and Southampton roads on Friday, 29th November, 2019

A vehicle rollover on Easthampton Road Friday morning left a driver in critical condition.

The Holyoke Fire Department responded to the single-car crash at the intersection of Easthampton (Route 141) and Southampton roads at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

“The passenger car had driven off the road and rolled onto its side,” Captain Kevin Cavagnac said in a statement. “The driver was found unconscious and had to be removed from the car by mechanical extrication. The vehicle was stabilized and crews used hydraulic cutters to remove the car’s roof.”

Cavagnac said that the driver, whom he did not identify, was transported in “critical condition” to the emergency room.
