CHARLESTON, SC : Man partially ejected identified in Hwy 78 crash on Wednesday, 26th June 2024

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified a man from Guatemala as the deceased in Wednesday night’s crash on Highway 78.
Juan Garcia, 20, of Guatemala died at 3:59 p.m. at the Trident Medical Center following sustaining injuries from the collision, the coroner reports.
The collision occurred on Hwy 78 at Wisteria Street in Ladson, deputies say Garcia was a passenger in a vehicle that was turning left from Wisteria Street onto Hwy 78 and did not yield to the right of way, striking another vehicle.
